I've been drawing since I was a tot and have aspired to be an artist for at least as long. At 8 I 'knew' I was going to be a Graphic Artist and drive a Porsche (at least I got one of them right). In Dec 2016 I had a double mastectomy. The idea of such a massive surgery scared the life out of me and when I woke up afterwards one of the first things I said to my partner was 'I want to do more with my art'... that was how my first mural was born.

how I got into murals |
day to day |
I pretty much swallowed my fear and put myself out there. My first mural - 'Love Living Here Hurunui' is a reflection of my passion for local community, nature, sustainability and my love in New Zealand.
My other murals have come from my passion for community and my love of seeing people inspired. |
My days are spent working in my own firm
Spruce Design and Marketing creating graphic design for local businesses. Otherwise I love spending time with my kids, playing music, growing veges or creating beautiful artworks that I hope will make people feel happy and positive. |
